The cameo battle of this game has the player fight a team of four characters from previous Tales games, including Cless Alvein/Cress Albane and Mint Adenade from Tales of Phantasia and Stahn Aileron and Rutee Katrea from Tales of Destiny. To unlock said cameo battle, the player must fully complete Illusionary Darkness, the game's EX Dungeon and the "Femme Fatale" sidequests that Mint and Rutee host, then go to Xian Du's arena and participate in the Elite Team challenge. After defeating the last opponents in that bracket, the cameo team will immediately appear.

Spoiler:Defeating them allows the player to view an extra ending where Cress and the group offer to help Ludger save Elle from Bisley as well as deal with Chronos and Origin's Trial. Should the player agree to let them handle it, Cress will use his Eternal Sword to transport himself and his group to Canaan where they easily deal with Bisley and Chronos and return Elle to Ludger.

The credits sequence seen in this ending feature messages from the developers thanking the player.

Elle Mel Marta's backpack references an old ##Namco## game, "Baraduke". The backpack itself is shaped as a Paccet, while the small charm hanging off of it is the main character, Kissy.
