The Friday Night Funkin' mod Vs. Sonic.exe contains a set of songs relating to "Starved", a creepypasta interpretation of Dr. Eggman from the Sonic The Hedgehog series depicted as a predatory murderer who eats animals and plans to eat Sonic next. One song, "Fight or Flight", samples the opening of "Hedgehog Stew", a popular and contrastingly lighthearted YouTube Poop music video edited by YouTuber iteachvader using clips of the animated series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. After the mod's release in 2021, the comments section for the original video would become flooded with comments referencing Starved and the mod. Two years later in 2023, two middle school students in North Carolina were investigated by local police over a series of drawings they made of violent imagery, including one depicting the "Fight or Flight" stage in the mod. After learning of the incident, iteachvader disabled the video's comment section after growing concerned it had become an unintended gateway for children to the morbid creepypasta character and other inappropriate content, and objected to his video's use in the mod.
