At one point during Donkey's questline in the "Game of Crone" DLC, he will task the player with creating the Jelly of Incredible Power on behalf of his rat allies, who claim it will make them "big and strong, skilled in martial arts, and fond of turtles." This, combined with the shape of the jelly (which appears to be a rat wearing robes and carrying a walking stick), is a reference to the character Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
