On the file select screen, a message will appear and disappear that says, "Welcome to your mansion." However, the "y" in "your" fades away a split second before the rest of the message, so that it reads, "Welcome to our mansion." The copy and erase messages are also spooky: when choosing a file to copy, the message says, "More files means more fear." Selecting erase causes the message to alternate between "You can erase the files" and "but not the fear."

Attachment In the second of the three intermissions, when Blinky's coat is ripped off, you can see Blinky's eyes temporally change from their standard blue to black. This is to allow the game to draw Blinky's foot with a proper skin color, as each sprite could only have four colors, including a transparent (black) color.

Near the top of the maze, the large rectangular walls are not solid, but rather hollow, as proven by altering the palette of the maze walls. By default, they appear to be solid as both the background and maze interior colors are identical, and because of this, wall tiles without boundaries were never inserted into the game.

Certain bootleg versions of Pac-Man, such as JoyMan and the Galaxian hardware version show this in full detail.

Attachment A promotional video for the Sony Playstation appeared on a demo disc for the UK Official Playstation Magazine, known simply as "Elightenment". The video is a parody of Chinese Kung Fu movies with a man seeking to advance to "the higher level" being instructed by and old master about various Playstation peripherals. Very little is known about the video's production and it does not appear to have been shown anywhere outside of demo discs.

On the planet Noveria, when Commander Shepard enters the Hot Labs, the Russian scientist inside warns him of the Neutron Purge. Upon being asked for the codes, the scientist will be killed by a Rachni grunt. Should the player interract with the V.I without having obtained the codes from the scientist, an option will be available that has Shepard mumble something. Choosing this option causes Shepard to mumble "Sic semper tyranus...", a Latin phrase meaning "Thus always to tyrants." This phrase is a rally cry against those who abuse political power, and was spoken by Marcus Julius Brutus during his assassination of Julius Caesar, as well as John Wilkes Booth during his assassination of President Abraham Lincoln.

The game drew heavy criticism from the British Legion and the tabloid newspaper the Daily Star when it was about to be released. Reasons included its use of the remembrance poppy iconography and accusations that it glorified/made light of war. In reality the developers intended to use dark humor to present an anti-war message, best exemplified with the closing paragraph in the game's manual, "on a more serious note: don't try playing this at home, kids, because war is not a game - war, as Cannon Fodder demonstrates in its own quirky little way, is a senseless waste of human resources and lives. We hope that you never have to find out the hard way."

It is actually possible to "kill" Doctor Wily in the penultimate boss battle with him. After destroying Wily Machine No. 4, switch to Toad Man's "Rain Flush" weapon and fire it so that the screen-clearing rain comes down before Wily leaves the screen in his escape pod. The attack will destroy him with a sound effect and explosion graphic the same as if you were destroying a common stage enemy. Mega Man will now be stuck on this screen forever, as the game does not move on to the next level if you do this.
