Donkey Kong Country Returns
1
At the end of the level "Lift-off Launch", green lights can be seen in the sky. These lights can be found in northern parts of the world, and go by the name of the "Northern Lights". This suggests that the game takes place in a northern part of the world.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3
1
There are several unused voice clips that suggest that there were going to be more characters in Dragon Universe than there actually are. Notably, Kid Goku's Dragon Universe seemed to have involved him finding a time machine that takes him to the current Dragon Ball Z era, fighting Yamcha, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Piccolo (who he thinks is still King Piccolo), maybe Vegeta, Teen Gohan (who thinks he stole the name from his grandfather) and Broly.
DuckTales: Remastered
1
Attachment A sprite of Scrooge in the costume he wore in the "Masked Mallard" episode of the Ducktales cartoon series appears in a documentary about the making of the game. This could possibly indicate that the developers originally planned to give the player the option to change Scrooge's outfit.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

The game's soundtrack was included as one of the pre-order bonuses for the game. However, the header information in the music files indicates that they were encoded by "arsa13", a user responsible for putting up illegal copies of the soundtrack on torrent sites.

This suggests that Ubisoft had downloaded a pirated version of their own soundtrack to publish as a pre-order incentive.

Attachment In Lumiose City Station, if you interact with the back of the TMV Timetable closest to the wall, it will read: 'Something is written on the back of the timetable. "I'm going to go for help. Wait in the usual place."' There is also a child standing nearby who says "It should be some place right around here, right?" People believe this child is looking for the 'usual place.'
Franchise: Suikoden
1
Attachment Lorelai has used a different type of weapon in every appearance she has made in the series. She uses a bow in the first Suikoden game, a scythe in Suikoden II, and a whip in Suikoden V. This suggests that she is a strong, well rounded fighter. Her recruitment policy usually requires a high level, further illustrating her own skill.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
1
Attachment In the Character Reference section, Chi-Chi says that she would like to have met Grandpa Gohan. However, she met him in the last episodes of Dragon Ball. The game might be disregarding this, as it was anime-only filler.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

In "Dragon History", the game's story mode, during the fight with Nam, Mr. Satan/Hercule is shown on the signs and blimps even though he is not the champion at that point in the story. This can be attributed to the stage being more or less the same throughout the series, so making a whole new stage without Mr. Satan/Hercule just for this scenario would be wasteful.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
1
Attachment In the PlayStation 3 release, placeholder text scripted as "MENU_DLC5_MAPS" can be found in the game's code, hinting that Treyarch may have considered releasing 5 DLCs instead of the final 4.
Action 52
1
There is evidence in the game's code that suggests that there was originally going to be 8 more games, making a total of 60.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
1
Attachment There are unused CD labels in the games files, stored with the data for the CDs that are found during battles. It is likely that the CDs were originally intended to show these labels related to what would have been unlocked when collecting them.
Super Mario Bros.
1
In the game's manual, it's stated that the Koopas turned the Mushroom People into stone, bricks, and plants. This could imply that throughout the game you're killing the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Franchise: Pokémon
1
The Pokemon 'Rotom' is just motor spelled backwards. It's thought this is because motors make machines work, but Rotom does the opposite.
1
Pokémon Trainer is the only character that has a custom name in their original series to not be given a default name in Brawl, and is instead given a generic name. It is clear from the character design that the suitable default name would be "Red" as he is named as such in Pokémon Gold and Silver, and again in the remakes which were released after Brawl. The reason this was done is unknown.
EarthBound
1
Attachment There are four unused sprites of King, which show him climbing a ladder or rope. This would suggest two things: either King was supposed to remain in the party longer, or Ness' original travels through Onett were supposed to include something to climb.
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
1
Attachment There's an unused animation for the decorative mailbox that appears above the post office in Hyrule Castle Town. The level of animation suggests that there were to be fully functional mailboxes in the game, much like with The Wind Waker.
Touhou Shinreibyou: Ten Desires
1
Most stages/bosses in the game actually have two slightly different themes. When a playable character enters Trance Mode, the music will shift to a "Spirit World" version. The normal stage themes have more of a focus on the melody and harmony of each track, while the Spirit versions have a lower sampling rate and focus much more on the rhythm. The two versions can also be mixed for a more "full" version.

It is possible that Toyosatomimi no Miko's theme lacks a Spirit World version. It is thought that this ties into Miko's ability to listen to peoples' desires, regardless of whether they are a spirit or not.
League of Legends
1
Attachment Renegade Talon has red eyes and a rogue's bandanna covering his face. It's possible that Talon is the man who murdered Miss Fortune's mother, as according to her lore, "she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandanna".
Chrono Cross
1
Attachment Spekkio is believed to make an appearance in the Bend of Time. If Janice is brought to the area, the timekeeper will note that the "God of Combat" has taken an interest in her, and she will be bestowed her level 7 tech, What'sUpDoc. He still has his own separate room, and after a trial similar to the one in Chrono Trigger (involving running three laps around the room) he offers a battle with Ozzie, Slash, and Flea. A minigame ensues in which the player must run a correct number of laps to receive a Dreamer's Sarong. After the minigame is won, he remarks that perhaps he will see the player in another, different dimension.

Sprigg is a variation of sprig, which is a leafy shoot or twig. Sprigg may also be short for Spriggan, a type of wood fairy or pixie. Since Sprigg is a Green Element and a generally woodsy being, either name would be fitting.
