Aside from the RMX stages that appear in the original game, Piranha Plant Pipeline is the only Tour stage absent from the Booster Course Pass. This was most likely done as a way to avoid confusion with the pre-existing Mario Kart 7 stage Piranha Plant Slide, which contains many similarities to Piranha Plant Pipeline.

Hope we can be in for an official explanation from the developers about this sometime about the track. Though believe it or not wave 6 was initially data mined to have 3 prefixless tracks (that's what I personally call could be deemed as Switch tracks whilst we await an official title for them), only for 2 of them to get replaced with Wii Daisy Circuit and 3DS Rosalina's Ice World (one of them never even made it to Mario Kart Tour in time).
