Attachment Near the beginning of the first Teensie Highway, where huge letters spell the word love, the USS Enterprise from Star Trek can be seen. The Enterprise was probably placed here because the Teensie Highway is a wormhole, and wormholes are encountered frequently by the Enterprise.

During the production of the game, the Insomniac Games employee and level designer, Dan Johnson, had passed away. Both this and the next game, Tools of Destruction, had his name in the credits for a memorial.

Attachment There is a snowman in both this game and Up Your Arsenal named Snow Dan. This is an in joke for the developers which references a former Insomniac Games employee, Dan Johnson. Also, the Insomniac Museum planet, Dantopia, was also named after him.
Mega Man Zero 2

The boss Phoenix Magnion has an attack that summons ghostly images of the characters Vile, Agile, Bit and Colonel (who were introduced in Mega Man X1 - X4, respectively) to attack Zero. Interesting facts to note is that two of the enemies, Agile and Bit, are never actually met in gameplay by Zero in either X2 or X3, and Bit, for the first time, is seen in gameplay using his shield that was formerly only seen in concept and other official art, not gameplay.

Attachment At the end of the crypt in episode five "A Tangled Web", using the Binocucom whilst standing on a pillar, you can see Jojo the Raccoon hovering above the coffin, the main antagonist from Sucker Punch's first game "Rocket: Robot of Wheels".

Shooting Mario will give the player some health while playing the 1-up sound.

Attachment Catherine's protagonist Vincent Brooks appears in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable. His name is simply "Man Drinking Alone" in the dialog bubbles but talking to him reveals his relationship issues and notes "it's nothing that [your character's name] needs to worry about" and even asks the player if they've ever had a dream where they're falling.

Dante used the name Tony Redgrave as an alias in his early days of demon slaying. When asked about the name, director Hideki Kamiya stated that "Antonio Redgrave was a journalist that Dante respected, so he used it as his fake name during his days as a mercenary..." In Bayonetta, Luka's father, Antonio Redgrave, was a world famous journalist that documented supernatural events, people, and places. It's very likely that the two Tonys may be the same person.
Franchise: Spyro the Dragon

In Mystic Marsh (Spyro 2), and Dino Mines (Spyro: Year of the Dragon), an Insomniac employee, Dan Johnson, makes a cameo. In Mystic Marsh, his face is shown on the coins in the fountain and in Dino Mines, on a "Wanted" poster.

Trish, the Fairy from previous Persona games, makes a cameo appearance in Persona 3 as the host of a TV show called "Who's' Who" in which she interviews characters from past games.

Attachment In the Doom II final level "Icon of Sin", the boss is supposed to be a giant demon head with a fragment missing from its forehead. It says, "To win the game, you must kill me, John Romero!", distorted and in reverse to sound like a demonic chant. One can use the "noclip" cheat to enter the boss and see Romero's severed head which is skewered on a post. John Romero is the creator of the Doom series. The staff didn't like Romero due to his egotistical personality. They decided to get him back by making him the final boss.
Banjo-Tooie

Attachment Inside the Dodgems Dome in Witchyworld, looking out of the window you can see a constellation of Rare's then mascot, Mr. Pants. He also makes an appearance on a TV in Hailfire Peaks, inside Boggy the polar bear's igloo.

Attachment In the expansion pack "The Sims: House Party", if you throw a cool enough party, Drew Carey will arrive in a limo to congratulate you and hang out.

Drew Carey was a fan of the Sims and also parodied them in an episode of "The Drew Carey Show".
