Some changes were made to Otacon's lab concerning objects lying around. Originally the anime poster on the wall was of Hideo Kojima's earlier game "Policenauts", which is changed in subsequent versions to a poster of "Zone of the Enders 2" and the Playstation lying on a desk is changed to a Gamecube with a Wavebird controller.

Two statues of Mario and Yoshi were also added. Shooting the Mario trophy plays the original 1-UP sound from the NES classic and restores a bit of Snake's health, while shooting Yoshi just makes Yoshi do his famous "Yoshi!" squeak.
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
1
Attachment If a player attacks the wall to the right of the Horo temple entrance, a miniature head of Kid Dracula from the Castlevania spin-off games "Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula-kun" and "Kid Dracula" will appear. Collecting it will give the player $100.

Attachment Metroids appear in the second level of Iceberg. They can only be beaten with the Ice power (mirroring how Samus needs to use the Ice Beam/Missiles to defeat them). When you beat the level, Samus can be found standing in front of the exit. If you beat all the Metroids, Samus will have her helmet off. This a likely reference to the typical Metroid convention of allowing players to get a glimpse of Samus's face by getting a 100% collection rating.
