Super Noah's Ark 3D
1
Super 3D Noah's Ark originally began development as a game based on the Clive Barker movie Hellraiser. Wisdom Tree acquired the rights to make a game based on the film for $50,000, and licensed the Wolfenstein 3D engine from id Software, believing that the Wolfenstein 3D engine and the first-person shooter genre would be a good match for the license. Development for the game began on the original NES, using a cartridge equipped with a co-processor that would have tripled the processing speed of the NES to allow the game to run fast enough. However, development of this version was halted because Wisdom Tree could not work around the NES' strict palette limitations, and because the cartridge itself would have been prohibitively expensive, with an estimated cost of $100 per cartridge for the consumer. Wisdom Tree then allowed their Hellraiser license to expire, and instead retooled the game for the SNES as Super 3D Noah's Ark.

Franchise: Star Wars
1
Attachment Rebel Warrior was a concept for a game where you play as a Wookiee fighting against Imperial forces. The idea was pitched to George Lucas for a game that would become Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, however, he shot the idea down believing that a Wookiee protagonist who could only make grunts and barks to communicate wouldn't allow for great character development and interaction.
Franchise: Star Wars
1
Attachment Star Wars: Smuggler, later becoming the project Scum and Villainy, was a canceled Star Wars game which only reached the concept stage of development. The project began in 2004 when Jim Ward became president of LucasArts and part of an effort to find stories to develop into games. You would play as a smuggler in an Imperial-dominated galaxy where you could buy items for low and sell high and gain big rewards from them, however you would be at risk of entangling with Imperial forces. Concept from the project would later be used for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

subdirectory_arrow_right Star Wars (Franchise)

Team members on the project were John Stafford as designer, and Molly Denmark and Corey Allemeier as concept artists.

According to Stafford about the game, "got quite a bit of traction... we wrote a story, designed most of the environments/worlds, and many of the quests, characters, and items."
