When writing Primrose's scenario, which was intended to be heavy and adult, Kakunoshin Futsuzawa watched the fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones" to use as a reference when writing a "down-to-earth worldview". This led him to write Primrose as "a strong character who puts feminine charm front and center, and who doesn't get discouraged even when faced with the filthy, muddy side of humanity."
