A sequel to Ms. Pac-Man: Maze Madness simply titled "Ms. Pac-Man: Maze Madness 2" was in development around 2005 but was ultimately cancelled for unclear reasons. Not much is known about the game, but gameplay screenshots and test animations suggest it would have played similarly to its predecessor. The game was planned to have a Nintendo DS version made in collaboration with CSA3D, who provided multiple development tools used in that version such as a Proxy World Level Editor and a Maya Animated GIF Maker. TKO Software's sister company Method Solutions had a page on their website dedicated to Maze Madness 2, though its name, artwork, logo and description were all carried over from the original game despite being listed as Maze Madness 2 on the website's Products page.
