Attachment The game was originally titled "Looney Tunes: Hoop It Up!", as seen in the title screen for the August 8, 1994 prototype, and the December 1994 issue of the Chilean magazine "Club Nintendo". The game was formally unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 1994, complete with a basketball throwing carnival game and t-shirts featuring the game's logo as prizes. However, this ended up causing legal issues with the basketball tournament organization "Hoop It Up", which forced Sunsoft to redo the print art for the game, destroy all the t-shirts, and rename the game to "Looney Tunes B-Ball". Sunsoft's marketing department had initially suggested "Looney Tunes Balling" as a replacement, but went with the final title after pushback from the producers and quality assurance staff.
