One of the possible lines a boy might say when pleading for his life is “I’m just a poor boy. Please! Nobody loves me.” This is a reference to the song “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.

Inside Westminster Hall, there is a reference to insult sword fighting from the Monkey Island series. When entering, you can overhear a man arguing with a woman, who will say, "You fight like a dairy farmer." which then she'll reply back saying, "How appropriate that I fight like a dairy farmer because you fight like a cow."
