Fallout 4

There are a number of references to the 1982 film Blade Runner, both in the form of easter eggs as well as Spoiler:inspirations in the game's overall story:

• On top of the Mass Fusion Containment Shed building, there is a dead Raider wearing a duster and a dead Synth. The two bodies are posed similarly to Rick Deckard and Roy Batty in the "Tears in the Rain" scene from Blade Runner.
• The Power Noodles stand in the center of Diamond City, along with the Noodle-serving Protectron named Takahashi is likely inspired by the noodle stand and it's japanese-only speaking owner that Deckard eats at in Blade Runner.
• The town of Covenant requires a psychological "G.O.A.T Test" before it can allow newcomers in. Spoiler:The reasoning behind it is to tell who is a genuine human and who is actually a "Synth", very similar to the Voight-Kampf Test's done in Blade Runner, which is done to expose if the person being tested is a Replicant or not.
Spoiler:A good portion of the game's plot/backstory involves the "Synths", who are inspired by the Replicants from Blade Runner, in the sense they can mimic humans almost perfectly and hide among them. There are even runaway Synths trying to find freedom, similar to the runaway Replicants Deckard is tasked to find in Blade Runner.
Spoiler:Nick Valentine is arguably a product of inspiration from the movie, as he fits the "neo-noir" motif of Blade Runner.

Inside the Evil Forest, one of the Active Time Events that can be viewed is "Orchestra In The Forest", which shows the Tantalus orchestra playing a song to boost morale for the crew. The song that they play is actually Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony from Final Fantasy VII.

During "Mission 2 - Diamond Dogs" on Mother Base, it is possible to shoot Ocelot with a tranquilizer gun. Doing so will make him say a few comments instead of knocking him out. Sometimes he will say "La Li Lu Le Lo", in reference to the Patriots from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
He will also sometimes say "Kawanishi-Noseguchi, Kinunobebashi, Takiyama, Uguisunomori, Tsuzumigataki", which is a shortened list of the names of train stations of the Myōken Line, operated by Nose Electric Railway in the Kansai region of Honshū, Japan. This is also a recurring easter egg that started in the first Metal Gear Solid.

Inside the abandoned chapel in Brightstone Cove Tseldora, in the middle of the first room is a group of mushrooms. Hidden underneath them is a Pickaxe which can be used as a weapon, though isn't a particularly good weapon given the effort needed to uncover it. To get it, the player must aggro at least one Undead Boar at the Royal Army Campsite and then very carefully lead/push it all the way down to the chapel until it finds the mushrooms and proceeds to them dig up.
It is also possible to get a friendly piglet from the Royal Army Campsite to follow the player, but they only have a 1/1000 chance of spawning.

Metal Gear Solid borrows a good number of gameplay/plot elements from the previous game, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. The similarities are numerous, but the most notable ones are:
• The idea of looking on the back of the game's packaging/cd case for a hidden codec frequency. Both contact a female contact that help Snake out on his mission and both are even the same frequency, Spoiler:140.15. Both also get romantically involved.
• The idea of having to change the temperature of an object to turn it into a key.
• The idea of an anonymous source of help contacting Snake, Spoiler:both of which end up being Gray Fox.
• Snake has to run up a long flight of stairs while being chased by a number of soldiers in both games.
• The idea of a 4-man ambush inside of an elevator. The Metal Gear Solid version differs in that the four soldiers that attack are wearing stealth camouflage, which was also taken from Metal Gear 2 as there was a soldier who attacks Snake while wearing Stealth Camouflage.
• A battle with a Hind-D using Stinger Missiles.
• Snake has to battle an operational Metal Gear, and after destroying them he then has to fight the pilot of said Metal Gear in hand-to-hand, as his gear is taken away from him.

If the player hits Meryl, she will retaliate with a hard slap, knocking off health. Meryl can end up killing Snake through this, and when she does the Game Over screen will have her voice saying "This can't be!"
If the player does this in the caves portion of the game and the dogs are around, she will call for the dogs to attack Snake. If the player immediately hides in the cardboard box after attacking Meryl, the dogs will instead pee on the box Snake is hiding inside of.

Attachment After the cut-scene inside the bathroom with Meryl, if the player goes into 1st person mode and stares at her, she will ask Snake to "stop staring at her like that." If the player continues to stare at her in 1st person mode, her skin will slowly turn redder from blushing.

Shortly after defeating Grey Fox and meeting up with Hal, the player will have to find Meryl, who is currently disguised as a Genome Soldier. When the player finds her, she will run off into the women's bathroom and change out of her disguise.
If the player follows her quickly enough, the next cut-scene will show her without any pants on, as she didn't have enough time to change properly.
However, if the player goes into the bathroom before seeing Meryl and calls Mei Ling on the codec, Mei Ling will chastise Snake for going into there.

Attachment The end-game armor set called "Stardust Armor" is possibly a reference to the manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, specifically the third story arc called Stardust Crusaders. The armor itself can summon a ghost-like guardian that will automatically defend the summoner at close range, akin to how the Stands from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure function.
