In September 2020, a massive leak of Data Design's prototypes was posted online, including early builds of Nickelodeon Party Blast. One of the developer backups named "LUCA" features concept sketches and documents of SpongeBob's level as featured in "Squirt 'n Splash", as well as "2balls.psd", a suggestive drawing of Ray Rocket from Rocket Power with two bulges inside the front of his shorts. The leak also reveals unused models of Squidward Tentacles from SpongeBob SquarePants and Donnie from The Wild Thornberrys (including an unused walk cycle for Donnie), suggesting they were planned to appear in the game but were cut later on.

In the game's files, there are unused PlayStation 2 controller buttons and memory card graphics, suggesting that the game was planned to be released on the console at some point in development. This was further cemented by a data leak of content from the developer Data Design in September 2020, where one of the prototypes is named "nGames PC-PS2-GCN-XBOX 22-April-2002."
