One of the cars that can be found in the junkyard is modeled after a 1969 Pontiac Le Mans, a car that Tim Schafer owned during the development of Full Throttle. When Tim Schafer went out to lunch one day, the engine exploded and the car caught on fire. Later, when Schafer returned to the office, he found that Peter Chan, Lead Artist for Full Throttle, had painted the car into the game.
When the player looks at the car, Ben will say "Fire Damage. Forget about it."
