The first boss fight against Desann in the game's story campaign is scripted to be lost, and he cannot be beaten at that point in the game through normal means. If you attempt to use God mode cheats to fight him with infinite health, the fight will effectively last forever. In the PC version, if you type in a console command to kill him, the game will not progress.
