Released in Japan in 1995, and in Europe only a year later, this became a fairly popular import in the US when it appeared that there would be no plans to release it there. It was finally released in 2003, well into the next console generation, and after the US release of several newer Dragon Ball games. Reviews of the US release were overwhelmingly negative, because by that time it had been far surpassed by other games in the series.
