According to production director Ian Flatts, the development team had to frequently show 50 Cent updates on progressing builds of the game to ensure everyone was on the same page, and he was overall easy to work with. However, there was one milestone that created challenges late into development. 50 Cent and his management team wanted the developers to fly out to meet him and present a near-complete build of the game for his son Marquise to play through and determine its quality. Marquise enjoyed the game, but persistently requested them to include a level with helicopters. Despite polite objections from the developers, 50 Cent responded with "You heard him, make a level with helicopters in"; 50 Cent also requested there be car chase levels. As the game was primarily designed as a third-person shooter, the engine lacked the features and technical design that allowed for vehicle physics, causing the developers to put in an immense amount of extra work to get the car chase interludes working, while describing the helicopter level as being made without any extra coding work and "out of bits we had in the shoebox, [...] It was a pain to debug."
