According to game developer Brian Gomez, Activision considered working on a "PaRappa the Rapper" style of game with Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs becoming the main protagonist, but the idea was quickly scrapped in favor of developing "Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style", a fighting game based on the rap group, the Wu-Tang Clan.
