Pokémon Crystal Version
1
Attachment There is a glitch where the player's colour scheme can be changed.

This is done through:
1. Starting a game as either a boy or a girl and saving.
2. Starting a new game as the opposite gender.
3. Save the game, but turn it off while it says "SAVING...DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER".
4. When the player restarts, his or her character should be the wrong color.

You can do this without starting a new game but doing so with Pokemon in your PC will cause them to be lost.

Performing this glitch also unlocks Mystery Gift.

It's possible to play as General Leo in places you weren't meant to. Using the airship glitch (which is done by first getting the airship, flying around, getting back to the floating continent, saving, and then dying, giving you use of the airship to travel to any part of the world) you can skip getting a majority of the characters besides a select few. These character's slots will be replaced by characters only used in certain parts of the game, like General Leo.

Attachment At the beginning of the Facility level, players are required to open a door with a computer switch in order to progress to the next area. Unfortunately, the computer can be destroyed, leaving players stuck in the starting area. In order to get around this, the developers added a scientist that eventually rushes to the bathroom. He is carrying keycard A, which will open all of the doors in the level (with the exception of the bottling room, which requires the door decoder).

There is a glitch that be seen using a clock and the TV in your home. Purchase a clock, wait until the time is 4:40, and enter your house. Examine the clock, and if it is 4:44, go to the TV and interact with it. The text box will repeatedly open and close until the game has been turned off, and back on again.

This glitch was turned into an easter egg in More Friends of Mineral Town where the number 4 appears repeatedly on screen given the same circumstances.

Many spells in the original NES version are bugged:
Aura does nothing at level 8.
Barrier does not grant protection against ice at level 8.
Dispel doesn't work at all.
Protect only works on the caster.
Sap won't work on enemies with more than 256 MP.
The Ultima spell was supposed to increase in power relative to the level of all of the other spells the caster has but won't even if all other learned spells are at level 16. This means that Ultima will only do about 500 damage at level 16.

The spell Temper (TMPR) was bugged in the original NES version. In later releases, it raises the attack of an ally by 14.

After completing the Thunder Dragon Quest, if the player talks to Golo, the Goron outside of the Lanayru Mining Facility entrance, at least twice, Golo tells the player that he is jealous of his discovery. From this point forward, the game becomes impossible to complete and the events at Eldin Volcano and Faron Woods will no longer occur.

Nintendo has since tried to fix this glitch by releasing "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Save Data Update Channel", a free channel from the Wii Shop.

Drahmin's design gave the developers problems. In early development, the club on his right hand switched to his left hand when he faces a different direction. They had to create special codes so that it would stay on his right hand.

If you go into Dai-1-wa, Dai-2-wa, or Dai-3-wa with a complete inventory (using a hacked save or Dai-4-wa save file), you can explore the overworld past the normal week boundaries. The problem is, the areas were only really changed from A Link to the Past as they were needed, resulting in a glitched overworld somewhere between A Link to the Past and Sekiban.

The Hyrule soldier sprite data is gone, but their properties remain, so they appear as glitched enemies. All Dark World warps are missing, while trying to use a water warp will crash the game and entering a cave or other indoor location will likewise cause strange glitches.

Attachment There is a glitch that's caused by going down a pipe, pausing the game, and exiting the level with Select. When Mario enters any level, he'll go through the floor as if he was still going down the pipe. Through this glitch, Mario will usually fall into a visual representation of the game's RAM. Blocks, pipes and other graphics are seemingly scattered randomly and can do random things, such as give Mario coins, hurt Mario, complete the level or crash the game entirely. It's even possible to trigger the credits in this area.

The World 0-1, or Minus World glitch (in which Mario can visit a secret world before World 1, and entering the pipe at the end of it returns him to the beginning of the World), is fairly well known but there are actually two more worlds after it that can be accessed by hacking a flag pole into the level.

Level 0-2 is just another water level with a lot of unfinished level design and acts as one of Bowser's castles.

Level 0-3 is a land level with the flooring as a ceiling which you can break like normal blocks. This level also has enemies unlike 0-2 and ends just like a castle too.

Level 0-4 is a level that doesn't exist so the game just takes you to a black screen.

Attachment The Famicom Disk System version of Super Mario Bros. also contains World 0-1 but it is a full-fledged world with complete programming.

• 0-1 is a differently-textured version of 1-3, though it takes place underwater (even though there is no visible water and features bizarre elements, such as floating Princess Toadstools and floating, headless Bowsers).

• 0-2 is a carbon copy of 7-3.

• 0-3 is a copy of 4-4 that lacks its False Bowser and maze-like elements, features a different color palate (i.e. blue lava), and floating bloopers that can be stomped for 1000 points.

After beating 0-3, the player is taken back to the title screen (with the activation of hard mode upon starting the game), as if they had beaten the game.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations

Attachment In Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, if you enter Free Battle mode, select "Versus Battle", select the "1P vs. 2P" option, complete one match with supports, go back to the Free Battle mode selection screen, select Training mode, press B (or circle for PS3) on a support-only slot, you will be able to play as them. They have no Awakenings, B (or circle) combos, or voices and can only use their normal jutsu, powered chakra shurikens, normal dash, guarding, and normal walking. Attempting to do a side ninja dash (Left or Right on the Analog Stick and double A or X) will lock up your player unless you press your D-pad either left or right. Even though they are in an unplayable state, it suggests that all of the support-only characters were going to be fully playable since under normal circumstances support-only characters don't use their walking animations.
