Attachment It took more than two years to create the in-game Notre Dame cathedral. The game's senior level artist, Caroline Miousse, worked with a historian to make sure it stayed true as possible. Much of the art however in the cathedral, including the stained-glass windows, was protected under copyright law so none of it could be used and instead had provide her own interpretation. After it was complete, Miousse finally had a chance to actually visit Notre Dame.

Attachment Leaked screenshots show that there was originally a trophy for Tharja from Fire Emblem: Awakening, but it was removed from the final game. Some speculate this was because of her suggestive clothing that would have likely given the game a more mature rating from the ESRB. There has been no confirmation that this trophy was ever set to appear.

Attachment During development of Ducktales remastered, ##WayForward## went through multiple designs on Scrooge when developing the game (using the NES sprite from the original game as well as how Scrooge appeared in the Ducktales cartoon for reference). The designs, in order, are based on the following:
1. The NES sprite design (having Scrooge in both red and blue outfits)
2. A updated version of the NES design sprite
3. A design based on his appearance in Ducktales but with different colored cuffs and a black top hat
4. A design based on how Scrooge appeared in the Carl Barks comics (with a black top hat)
5. A reworked design of the Carl Barks Scrooge (with a bit of red showing in the top hat)
6. A design based on how he appeared in the Don Rosa stories of Scrooge

"MOTHER", the series's Japanese title, was inspired by the John Lennon song of the same name. Series creator Shigesato Itoi chose this name because he could heavily relate to the lyrics, which deal with Lennon's experiences growing up without a father. This theme is addressed in the first two entries in the trilogy, where Ninten and Ness's fathers are unseen, appearing solely as voices on a telephone. Itoi also felt that the title "MOTHER" was especially fitting, as the series was more feminine than other RPGs.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Attachment Inside of the Sixth House base of Sharapli (which can be found a bit east of Ghostgate), there is an interesting pool there named the Pool of Forgetfulness. Activating the pool does absolutely nothing, and there is no script associated with the item. It's possible the pool was once meant for a quest, or that the developers simply forgot about it.

In the game's announcement trailer, Bonnie can be seen running down the hall. In the final game however, Foxy is the only one that can actually be seen moving.
Assassin's Creed
1
Assassin's Creed originally started as a Prince of Persia Spin-Off, "Prince of Persia: Assassins". It was going to follow the events of a young Prince's female bodyguard as she escorts him through Jerusalem. The game was also going to feature co-op. However the game was cancelled when ##Ubisoft## heard the game was about the bodyguards and not the Prince himself.

Although many attribute Fire Emblem coming abroad to Marth and Roy's appearance in Super Smash Bros. A single unused test course exists in Mario Kart 8. It's a copy of Mario Circuit from the Flower Cup, but without music. Additionally, the orange arrow signs are not animated. According to interviews, Mario Circuit was the first track designed for this game, so this is very likely intended for testing. It works the same in Battle Mode as well.
