The members of the Gessen Girls' Academy all reference classical music in their character themes. Yumi's theme has its first half based on Mozart's "Dies Irae" and its second half based on Beethoven's "Pathetique Sonata, 3rd Movement", Murakumo's theme is based on Prokofiev's "Dance of the Pagan Monster", Yozakura's theme is based on Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata, 1st Movement", Minori's theme is based on Tchaikovsky's "Russian Dance", and Shiki's theme is based on Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons - Winter, 1st Movement".

Yumi's Aerial Rave techniques (Takasago, Kiyotsune, Obasute, Utou, Sesshōseki) are all named after traditional Japanese Noh plays.

By holding the Select button (Back or Tab on PC versions) during the loading screens, any masks or glasses the characters wear will be removed during a match.
