In the description for the official YouTube upload of "ELECTRIC WEEKEND ZONE", a song contributed to the game by music producers CircusP and Flavor Foley, co-writer and Flavor Foley member Jamie Paige stated that the track was influenced by her own negative experiences working a retail job prior to becoming a full-time musician, describing how she would "sit there listening to the same five 7 year old pop songs on loop for like eight hours every single day while scanning price tags for markdowns. And dream about just leaving and doing Literally Anything Else." Paige elaborated on this in a Tumblr post detailing an unrelated solo song of hers, "Cadmium Colors", stating that she was "slogging through late-night shifts that wouldn’t get me home until 3 am some nights" and that the experiences contributed to a severe depressive period in her life.
