According to co-executive producer Greg Thomas, Floigan Bros. was intended to be the first in a series of games, with the game's logo being subtitled "episode 1" and it constantly being referred to as "the first installment", alluding to plans for sequels that would never happen:
"Ultimately, we want to make as many of these as we can, so our strategy has been to build a concept that is completely open-ended. Each new Floigan Bros. game would have its own storyline, new things to do, but the basic nature of the game, the relationship between Hoigle and Moigle, will always be central to the game-play."
