In Chapter 3, after Spoiler:Kris completes the final round of the Original Game on the Sword Route, Susie recounts Ralsei's experience growing frustrated at another video game in the Green Room. Afterwards, Ralsei states that "I was not very chuffed by that dart" in reference to an arrow hazard that appeared in the game. Later, in Chapter 5, Ralsei and Yellow's break in Flower Castle's cafe opens with Ralsei asking if Yellow has "any smoked herbs? Like, oregano," which Yellow misinterprets as "smokin' herbs." Both of these dialogue sequences reference a crude drawing of Ralsei smoking an oversized marijuana joint (traced over a preexisting edit of Super Mario 64 artwork) posted by Twitter user nlotch in 2021, which became a widespread internet meme following the release of Chapter 2. The Chapter 3 dialogue's wording additionally references a 2016 Facebook post by the account "Animals smoking Durrys", describing a centipede gripping a lit cigarette as "chuffin back a fat dart".
