Attachment The character Looker bares a strong resemblance to Koichi Zenigata, a fictional detective in Monkey Punch's manga series, Lupin the Third. This is most likely intentional since Lupin the Third was released when many of the Game Freak developers were young.

Attachment During a mission where Spoiler:the player has to rescue Dr. Zere from Rais there is an area that looks like an office, which includes a desk with a bloody pencil. This is a reference to the Batman movie "The Dark Knight", where The Joker Spoiler: kills one of Gambol's bodyguards with a pencil.

Attachment During the "Bunker" side quest, on the uppermost accessible floor is an elevator crawling with bugs. Inside the elevator is an enemy resembling a Clicker from The Last of Us. When the enemy is killed and looted, a weapon modification called "Clicker" can be obtained.

Attachment Throughout the game, there are arcade cabinets which the player can interact with. The game is called "Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3". This game has players to punch a turkey until it is gibbed, the graphics in the game are taken from the first 2 Doom games including the fist sprites and the background being a door from E4M9 "Fear", the fourth secret level of Doom. The title graphic is a parody of Street Fighter Alpha 3 and the company responsible for the game is "Nabcon", being a parody of Capcom.

Getting a high score on this game results in the player getting a congratulatory email which also informs the protagonist that his vacation has been docked two days for time-wasting.

When a character obtains a full bar of their super meter in 3rd Strike, the phrase "Let's Go!" can be heard. This is actually a sample from the 1960s Batman TV show; specifically the line "To the Batmobile! Let's Go!"

During the intro, the Empress will recount the events of the last game, and how they lead to this one. During her narration, she will say "Some believe when the Prince journeyed to the Island of Time to escape death, he returned alone, the amulet destroyed, the Dahaka appeased, the Empress dead. The Prince was free at last. But, this is not how it happened." This line is actually a reference to the bad ending of the previous game, Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within, in which those events occur.

Casino Paradise Zone holds a few little nods to both previous games in the series and the real world. There is a welcome sign in the beginning of the level, which might be a reference to the Sonic the Hedgehog prototype and its welcome sign in Green Hill Zone. A platform resembling the "Barrel of Doom" from Sonic the Hedgehog 3's Carnival Night Zone is also present, and the background bears a strong resemblance to Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom at night.

On the Citadel, the player can interract with a vending machine that dispenses a popular soft drink named Tupari. When interracted with, the machine will play a number of slogans promoting Tupari, one of which is "Tupari brings your ancestors back from the grave!"

This appears to be a reference to a popular advertising urban legend regarding the real life soft drink Pepsi, in which its Pepsi Generation slogan "Come alive! You're in the Pepsi Generation!" was supposedly misinterpreted in Chinese (or other Asian languages) as "Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave."
