In the game's settings, the language selector typically displays the language name in its own language ("Français" for French, "Deutsch" for German, etc.). However, this isn't the case for the Korean language, where its name is mistakenly displayed as "영어" ("English") instead of "한국어" ("Korean").

In Chapter 6, the player has to snoop around the Creator's cell phone and dial a number to call someone. This is normally used to only call the Creator with the number 555-8121. However, a second number can be dialed that is found on a flyer earlier in the game, which is Spoiler:555-2368. That number belongs to Spoiler:Miss Voodoo, who the player calls on the rotary phone in Chapter 2 during the disenchantment ritual for Mr. Wilhelm for her "Ghost, Possession, Poltergeist" services. The person on the other side of the phone will speak gibberish and play other spooky noises before ending the call. Mr. Game comments on this, saying:


This interaction unlocks the achievement "Who you gonna call?", featuring a picture of a phone with a general prohibition symbol over it. This sequence is a reference to the 1984 film "Ghostbusters", with Spoiler:the earlier phone number being the same phone number as the Ghostbusters' headquarters, and the achievement referencing their logo and a line from the film's theme song.

In the final release, the game uses crimson colors for its scene curtains. However, in a teaser screenshot taken at some point earlier in development, it's shown that they were originally colored blue instead.
