In the original versions of the game, the droid store on Kerona was called Droids-R-Us, a clear parody of the toy store, Toys-R-Us. When Toys-R-Us heard about the parody, they filed a lawsuit against Sierra. Even though they lost, Toys-R-Us forced Sierra to change the name to Droids-B-Us. In the updated VGA-remake, a parody of Geoffrey the Giraffe (the Toys-R-Us mascot) was added to the back of the shop, most likely as a nod to the lawsuit.
The in-game store also features several other parodies of various comic book, tv, and film characters.
