The Japanese Game Boy title Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun: Bangai Rantou Hen was adapted into a port of Double Dragon II in the West. While the gameplay remained largely the same and the level designs received minimal changes, other changes were more significant, including a new title screen, character graphics, and music.
