During the game's development, Sierra went through a transitional phase, after having been purchased. Because of this, certain protocols that ensure that the game followed a certain formula were not followed, and the game turned out differently than what the game's designer, Roberta Williams, had envisioned. Williams had considered about removing her name from the game.
