The karts for Shrek, Alex, B.O.B., and Hiccup have the number decals "01", "05", "09", and "10", respectively. This is a reference to the years in which their debut movies were released in ("Shrek" in 2001, "Madagascar" in 2005, "Monsters vs. Aliens" in 2009, and "How to Train Your Dragon" in 2010).
