Attachment Final Fantasy Adventure, known as Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan and Mystic Quest in Europe, is also the first game in the Mana series. The game would later be remade as Sword of Mana for the Game Boy Advance but with all Final Fantasy elements dropped.

Attachment In the heroine's route, one quest involves retrieving a book belonging to a boy in Topple Village. Upon returning the book, he reveals that the book is called "Magical Vacation" and describes its plot:

"Kids at a magic school do all sorts of stuff! They beat up enemies with fire, lightning, poison and stuff! Bam! Pow! BOOM! Giant acorns!"

This is a reference to the 2001 RPG of the same name, which was also developed by 1-UP Studio (formerly Brownie Brown).
