At one point in development, there were plans for an NES release of the game that ultimately never came out. The port was only mentioned once in a 1988 Capcom sales brochure, and the only known screenshot was discovered by Video Game History Foundation director Frank Cifaldi and featured in the Museum section in the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.
