Despite the game having numerous religious topics, the plot of the game does not tie into any real-life religions. According to producer Junta Inagaki, this was done on purpose by the developers, who feared that referencing real-life religions in the game would result in the whole project, including the collaboration between DMM Games and Too Kyo Games, being cancelled due to the delicate nature of the topic, particularly in Japan.
