At one point in the game, the Disco Director NPC proclaims, "I'm really feelin' it!" in a heavy British accent. this is in reference to the same line said by the character Shulk in the Xenoblade Chronicles and Super Smash Bros. series. This homage came about because the developers of Lego Star Wars are huge Xenoblade fans, and took advantage of the fact that Shulk and the Disco Director have the same English voice actor, Adam Howden.

Attachment In Mos Espa, you'll encounter a mysterious droid holding a Kyber Brick who you follow into an abandoned home, only to then have it creepily stare at you in a cutscene and mysteriously vanish. This droid is most likely Nobot, a background character first appearing in the film Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace whose backstory is currently mostly relegated to the Legends continuity.

In Legends, Nobot had years ago mysteriously showed up in Mos Espa covered in blaster marks and dried blood with its serial number missing and now aimlessly wandering the city streets. It has a broken communication module which from time to time will play a recording of what sounds to be a woman being murdered. This woman had apparently been pregnant and it's unknown whether Nobot had either killed her or simply witnessed the murder. Nobot's backstory had been written by fan Shaun Flaherty which would become acknowledged by Lucasfilm.
