In the USA Version of this game, Hamtaro receives a nut to give to another hamster. However, in the EU version it is a cherry.

The animation for "Hushie" in Japan features Hamtaro masking his mouth with paper with an "X" symbol on it. However, in international territories this "X" was replaced with a red crossed-circle design.

The animation for "Cramcram" features the Japanese flag design on Hamtaro's headband in the Japanese version of this game. However, in international territories this design was removed.

The animation for "Wait-Q" in Japan is different from the international version. Whereas in international versions Hamtaro taps his foot on the ground, in Japan Hamtaro rubs the ground with his paw.
