Initially, he was only mentioned in Cody's profile (the English version of which claimed Kyle had yet to appear in a game, though this was not part of the original Japanese version, instead simply indicating he was Cody's brother), but eventually received a profile of his own. Notably, the Japanese version of his profile listed his girlfriend Vanessa Sims as one of his likes, implying she may be canon as well. However, this was changed in the English version of his profile, claiming he merely liked women.
