The game was released as 'Lost Worlds' in Japan and had a more mechanical looking logo, and a unique font for the Capcom copyright information.
The Japanese title screen also doesn't include the high score shown on the international release.

Sylphie bows to the player when her shop is entered in the Japanese version and greets them with vocals, whereas in the western release, she is silent and does not move.
