The name of Christopher Lloyd's character Drew Blanc (Mal Block in the German version of the game) is a reference to Looney Tunes voice actor Mel Blanc while being a pun on the phrase "drawing a blank". Meanwhile, Flux Wildly's name is a homage to the Flux Capacitor device from the "Back to the Future" film series, in which Christopher Lloyd plays the character of Doc Brown.
