The game was released in Europe as Asterix, based on the French comic series of the same name, with all of the sprites changed and the player having to avoid lyres of Assurancetourix and collect treasures instead of bundles of dynamite and hamburgers, respectively. A limited NTSC run was made with that release now worth around several hundred US dollars.
