As of March 2017, unlocking all of the in-game outfits, emotes and minor items would cost around $732. The cost for acquiring all of the items outraged the game's community prompting the game's director, Damien Kieken, to respond by stating "We never had an intention for you to unlock everything in the game. For us that doesn't really make any sense." He then compared the game to how in World of Warcraft and in any MOBA players would never try to unlock everything and just play one to three characters.
