Despite the game featuring new scenes by actor Anthony Ainley as the Master and original dialogue recorded by a couple of the Doctors, they weren't able to record anything new for the aliens and monsters. Gary Russell, the game's writer and future show script editor, had to search for sound bites from old episodes which they were able to use.
