Chaos Wars is infamous for the poor quality of its English voice acting, with some calling it one of the worst English dubs ever produced for a video game. Players have speculated that nepotism and unprofessional behavior from the game's North American publisher O3 Entertainment was to blame for the English localization turning out that bad. In the "Localize Staff" section of the game's end credits, two of the game's 13 voice actors (as well as two Special Thanks credits) have the surname "Jelinek", being family members of Chris Jelinek, the CEO of O3 Entertainment. The game's voice producer Joe O'Donnell can also be found in the game's voice cast.
