At one point, a kart-racing spinoff titled "Epic Disney Racers" was planned for release, but scrapped early in development. Not much is known about the game, but concept art suggests that it would have featured content from both the Epic Mickey series and the primary Disney animated canon, with Scrooge McDuck (paired with Huey, Dewey, and Louie) and Cruella De Vil being featured as racers, and a stage based on Agrabah being shown. Additionally, character-exclusive items seem to have been planned, such as Mickey's paintbrush and Oswald's remote.
