In the game there are multiple sci-fi references scattered around the areas, including HAL 9000 from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, Voight-Kampff from the movie Blade Runner, Shodan from the video game System Shock, and Cyberdyne from Terminator series. These were most likely left as inside jokes from the developers, as the game's intended audience (ages 6-10 during its release in 2006) would have been oblivious to such references.
