Rick Moranis declined to reprise his role as Louis Tully in Ghostbusters: The Video Game because he retired from acting in 1996. He retired from acting to raise his children after losing his wife to cancer.
Although Louis Tully does not appear in the game, his desk can be found at the bottom of the staircase in the firehouse. On the back wall are his uniform and the black earmuffs he wore in Ghostbusters II.
