Jun 15, 2025, 11:05 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Mario Kart World So Kazumi Totaka really is exceeding Charles Martinet with his character. It seemed so certain that Yoshi has a new VA thanks to how his voice sounded in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which does not sound like we heard as far back as Yoshi's Story.
Jun 14, 2025, 11:53 AM starryvirus Game: Deltarune she's such a goober bro I love susei
Jun 13, 2025, 7:37 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Pokémon Remind me if this only applies to a single generation or all generations featuring Rotom. I had forgotten how things were with games I played where I actually managed to obtain a Rotom.
Jun 13, 2025, 7:23 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Pokémon I don't suppose these Pokemon ever did anything in Legends Arceus that's another connection to the Triforce.
Jun 10, 2025, 6:37 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Kirby Guess this explains games like Kirby Triple Deluxe in terms of the additional info that get added sometime this year.
Jun 10, 2025, 6:34 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Metroid Next Level Games did still do a Metroid game somewhere down the line however, but it probably isn't what eventually became Metroid Prime: Federation Force.
Jun 10, 2025, 6:32 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Metroid Something which Samus would later be able to do without her power suit, both in Metroid games and in Smash Bros..
Jun 9, 2025, 1:36 PM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Mario Yet games between Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2 like of course the original Super Mario Bros. still have Mario wearing a blue shirt and red overalls. Could've sworn 1988 is when it started with the colour switch.
Jun 9, 2025, 9:17 AM MehDeletingLater Franchise: Mario No, the Mario Bros. arcade game was the first game where he wore that.

Jun 9, 2025, 8:49 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Mario I don't think any other NES games have had Mario without his hat.
Jun 9, 2025, 8:41 AM CuriousUserX90 Franchise: Mario Super Mario Bros. 2 is the first game to have Mario with a red shirt and blue overalls right? Despite what artwork shows.
Jun 6, 2025, 8:30 PM Endrogg Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 So basically Nintendo wants to conform to the status quo now and leave the innovation to the developers, and what the consumers get is an over-designed GameBoy that's just now getting games that's been on the PS5 for years. Better late than never...
Jun 3, 2025, 11:47 AM * CuriousUserX90 Game: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep They can still do The Jungle Book related things without King Louie, for one with the film's sequel, and those other instances of stuff The Jungle Book related from the 21st century.
Jun 3, 2025, 11:40 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Mario Kart World I still like to believe that it was always the plan for Mario Kart Tour content to be brought to Nintendo's own system, which it was in the form of the Mario Kart 8 Booster Pack. I would also like to believe that Diddy Kong and Kamek as other characters who could've been in Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U if not for time constraints were intended to be DLC in the Switch port somewhere down the line, after not being in the base game due to the decision with making the different genders of Villager and Inkling be separate slots
May 28, 2025, 11:25 PM Rocko & Heffer Game: Ena: Dream BBQ I haven't played or seen anything from Dream BBQ, but having seen everything else Ena-related... yeah, that sounds like the ideal way to voice direct for an Ena game.
May 24, 2025, 7:28 AM Rocko & Heffer Game: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep I would assume it's due to King Louie effectively being banned from Disney content due to a lawsuit over TaleSpin.

May 23, 2025, 11:35 PM Rocko & Heffer Game: Mappy Something interesting I'm not sure really warrants mention, but I'm pretty sure this version of Mappy is the only time he's ever had a Mickey Mouse-style muzzle. Looking at a comparison video, the NEC PC-6001 version comes the closest, but looks more like a muppet mouth with it just being a very thin line above his teeth - but that's not accounting for all the other Mappy games and his cameos in other Namco games. (Hell, the Game Boy Mappy design could be just as easily interpreted as some kind of 90s-cartoon underbite)
May 19, 2025, 5:12 PM Salnax Game: Dragon Ball FighterZ 10 million sold as of 2023, making it one of the best-selling Dragon Ball or Fighting games of all time.
May 4, 2025, 2:36 AM MehDeletingLater Game: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York You're right, the NES versions of both games were developed by Imagineering. The Angry Video Game Nerd episode cited in this submission was wrongly claiming the publishers (Acclaim and THQ) were the developers. The sound comparison before that error happens is still accurate so I'll leave that as is, but I added another source that ties both games together, thank you for reporting this.
May 4, 2025, 1:43 AM Salnax Game: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York I thought they were both developed by Imagineering?
Apr 29, 2025, 9:51 PM Rocko & Heffer Game: Glover Plok, Croc, and Glover - they seem to have all had the same thing going on at one point... and a very disappointing rhyme structure.
Apr 25, 2025, 9:13 AM * CuriousUserX90 Game: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U I don't see why they couldn't offer any additional Masterpieces in later updates, like say after Wii U virtual console started to offer Nintendo 64 games, none of which included the original Smash Bros. apparently for some reason.
Apr 22, 2025, 7:17 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep I might actually have an idea as to why The Jungle Book world wasn't in the final game, it comes from there being something similar that got featured. Here's to there being something for The Jungle Book at some point either way, but it'll take a game that doesn't focus on worlds from a specific era of Disney for it to be included.
Apr 19, 2025, 11:14 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Sonic Generations One couldn't possibly be able to eat an entire island whole I can assure.
Apr 7, 2025, 4:37 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Donkey Kong Atleast these days the modern DK has Candy whilst Mario has Peach. Though to be fair the original Donkey Kong is who became Cranky Kong, who even has a wife of his own, sadly now deceased.
Apr 6, 2025, 7:15 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Donkey Kong: Bananza I still like to believe that this Donkey Kong game was in the works for the Switch, only to have development redone for Nintendo's next system following an incident I prefer to not speak of. Didn't seem like a good move overall with Donkey Kong Bonanza not being on the Switch, especially after all the Switch had in terms of DK's sub series was re-releases of both games developed by Retro Studios. Overall we certainly got our hopes up after King K Rool's inclusion in Ultimate made it seem like a new game where the Kremlings make a comeback was in the works, along with the Mario Movie having all those kongs.
Apr 3, 2025, 11:24 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Kirby Air Ride Sakurai is long finished with doing Kirby games himself and has parted from HAL Laboratory as mentioned in this submission, but they say that the newly announced Kirby Air Riders is being worked on by him.
Mar 20, 2025, 3:49 AM MehDeletingLater Game: Secret of Evermore This has been corrected, thank you.
Mar 20, 2025, 2:02 AM northwestnina Game: Secret of Evermore The picture on the right is not the Doug Smith who worked on Secret of Evermore.
Mar 7, 2025, 9:14 PM Ya Block Game: Super Mario 3D Land The ghost is named in the files as "TrickTeresaGoalGhost" (Teresa is the Japanese name of Boo's) and appears in every ghost house level
Mar 1, 2025, 4:54 AM Rocko & Heffer Game: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl "Don't blame me, I wear Wedgie Boy"
"Kangaroo boy, you're off-model"
Feb 27, 2025, 7:03 AM Ya Block Game: Garfield's Scary Scavenger Hunt Don't look in Jon's basement
Feb 19, 2025, 4:30 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Disney's Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse I don't like the sound of this in terms of Nintendo's association. You know since it could foreshadow.
Feb 19, 2025, 4:29 AM CuriousUserX90 Game: Disney's The Lion King And I thought Wario's Woods was the only NES game to release after video games started to officially have themselves an age rating system.
Feb 17, 2025, 3:06 PM MehDeletingLater Game: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Not quite. The games have no direct story connections, but there are recurring themes, concepts, character and location names, and design elements that show up between different games, as well as occasional cameo appearances, like KOS-MOS and T-ELOS (Xenosaga characters) in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. All of these games have the "Xeno" prefix because they are all meant to be part of a wider franchise despite telling different stories and being produced by different developers, and series creator Tetsuya Takahashi has been involved in every Xeno game as a director and/or scenario writer.
Feb 17, 2025, 2:10 PM CuriousUserX90 Game: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Pretty sure Xenogears and Xenosaga are entirely different series, stuff that's not even Nintendo Property.
Feb 16, 2025, 4:28 PM Rocko & Heffer Game: Super Smash Bros. Ahh, the first in the long dynasty of "weird pretentious Sakurai moments"

Justice for Dashing Super Guy.
Feb 11, 2025, 2:20 PM CuriousUserX90 Game: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Good job on finding what I had been unsure of with the source in terms of what specific part of Spooky Trails has the Peanuts reference.
Feb 5, 2025, 8:38 PM chocolatejr9 Game: Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures Adding on to this, Whitehead also voiced Wallace in the video games "Wallace & Gromit: The Big Fix Up" and "Wallace & Gromit in The Grand Getaway".
Feb 4, 2025, 5:21 AM * CuriousUserX90 Game: Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures This game is actually not the only time Wallace had been voiced by Ben Whitehead before the Vengeance Most Fowl film.
