Planet Zoness was originally a beautiful water planet similar to its twin planet, Aquas. It was famous for its resorts and was where Peppy Hare had taken his wife, Vivian, for their honeymoon. However, Andross' forces would invade and pollute its waters with their bioweapons, mutating the local wildlife to become larger and violent.
Early footage of Star Fox 64 circa 1996 actually show Zoness in its pure, unpolluted state, which seems to indicate that making it polluted was decided on later in development. There's actually appears to be dialogue remnants of this cleaner version in the developer's dub:

According to voice director Douglas Carrigan, of the characters whose voices had to be recast for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Oblina was one of the hardest to find a replacement voice for after the death of her voice actress Christina Cavanaugh in 2014:
"If you really break down what Christina [Cavanaugh] did with that character originally, it’s so nuanced. She has such an interesting, bizarre range. That’s one of those characters that lives in an actor. [Soundalike] Alex Cazare did a really phenomenal job. She worked through the entire session to really make sure she did the character justice."

3 items from Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl were removed before the items update: a fart cloud, the Krusty Krab blimp, and a wrench set. The fart cloud and blimp's use are not fully known, but the wrench set would've created a platform like Toph's down special. They were rejected "because they weren't that fun".
In the files of the game, there is content implying two other potential appearances for the Krusty Krab Blimp: a texture for the Kids' Choice Awards blimp, and voice lines from the announcer referencing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' blimp, which is used in April's up special, as an item.

Found within the files of Star Fox Adventures is an unused audio track for the WarpStone's introduction cutscene, which also includes verbal dialogue. This was clearly an earlier version before Rare had done a voice-acting retake.
Most notably, the music that plays in the background is a remnant from Dinosaur Planet, from the scene where Krystal first arrives in SwapStone Circle and thus meets her respective SwapStone, Rubble. In the final Star Fox Adventures, music performed by bagpipes is played instead in this particular cutscene.

Some of the death sound effects for the characters are taken from the first two episodes of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Both Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul get their death sounds from "Episode I: The Phantom Menace" when they are pierced by each other's respective lightsabers. Jar-Jar has two death sounds that come from scenes in The Phantom Menace where he gets frightened by a Colo Claw Fish and failing to balance some cans in Watto's Junkshop.
As for "Episode II: Attack of the Clones", C-3PO also has two death sounds; one from when he is excited to be reunited with Anakin and Padme, and the other comes from when he's lost in the Geonosis droid factory. Geonosians also get their death sound from a scene in the droid factory (and oddly enough, so does Watto despite being Toydarian). Obi-Wan's death sound originates from when he's struck by lasers from the Slave I during his duel with Jango Fett. Jango also gets his death sound from the same duel when he gets kicked by Obi-Wan off of a platform. Anakin and Padme both get their death sounds from the Geonosis arena scene; Anakin's is from when he gets dragged by the Reek and Padme's is a high-pitched version of her getting injured by the Nexu. Finally, Yoda's death sound comes from the beginning of his duel with Count Dooku.

In the launch version of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, GIR's voice lines were not artificially pitched up as they were in the Invader Zim series, making it sound as if they had got a very poor replacement actor to those not familiar with how GIR's voice was originally made. GIR's voice actor Rosearik Rikki Simons pointed this out on Twitter, and it would be resolved in a latter update. However, the updated GIR voice lines still don't have the digitizer voice filter he had in the original series.

In the level "Paths of the Dead", there is a voice line error after the game transitions from a cutscene into the game. Legolas says "The way is shut. It was made by those who are dead, and the dead keep it." One second later, he repeats the very first line again, but quieter and with less emphasis, "The way is shut." This line appears in the cutscene's subtitles, suggesting that it was not properly edited out because it was mistakenly not recognized as an outtake in the first place.

The Finals has been criticized for using an A.I. text-to-speech program created by ElevenLabs to artificially generate the character's voices, rather than using traditional voice actors. In response, developer Embark Studios claimed that the generated voicework is based on a mix of professional voice actors and temporary voices from Embark employees.

The game has received criticism for the poor quality of its English dub and some questionable voiceover lines, leading to accusations that the game was made using AI manipulation. The English voice actor for Kawaki, Michael Schwalbe, reacted negatively to select clips of his voice that were chosen for the game, but did not directly accuse the developers of using AI. He stated that since the game's voice cast was unionized, generative AI could not be used in the game while "unknown to the talent involved" without violating union agreements. Bandai Namco Entertainment later issued a statement confirming that the lines in question were not AI generated, but the result of inconsistent issues during the editing and mastering process.

Kyoko's flurry kick features her shouting "ora ora ora," referencing Jotaro Kujo's battle cry in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise. Kyoko's voice actor, Kira Buckland, is a noted fan of JoJo and previously voiced Reimi Sugimoto in the English dub of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.
