Attachment The Saturn version includes a number of extra areas and features unavailable in the PlayStation version. Most infamously being that of the Underground Garden, as the entrance is still visible in the PlayStation version, though inaccessible. The player can glitch the game into allowing access to this area, but it is unfinished and only a glitched out save point is available.
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

Attachment In the code of the ROM is what appears to be a man wearing a pair of underpants, a cape, and a crown. It's very out of style and obviously just a scribble, but it also includes a full walking sprite-set, as well a number of other random animations.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
1
Attachment There are a number of unused transformations in the ROM that never made it into the final game. These include a plane, a mushroom and a tree.
GoldenEye 007

Attachment There's a hidden test level called "Citadel" found in the game's coding. It was designed during the early stages of multiplayer and had it been functional in the finished game, Oddjob and Mayday wouldn't have been available to play.

The level can only be accessed through the use of a cheat device. As an obvious test level, however, there are numerous glitches which prevent it from being properly playable.

Attachment In the first level of the game, the Dam, there's a small island near the end which can be seen from afar. The island features a guard tower and an inoperable drone gun with some beta textures. It can only be reachable using a cheat device and a no clipping cheat enabled.

Left over code suggest the player had to travel to the island and retrieve proper equipment to perform a bungee jump. 'Piton Gun' and 'Bungee' can still be seen in the games code, and a Piton Gun is what Bond used in the movie to get to the facility. However, according to Duncan Botwood, one of the developers on the game, it was originally planned for players to investigate the area and find some armor as a reward.
F1 2002
1
Attachment A series of hidden JPEG images were extracted from F1 2002. They are contained in both the North American and European releases of the game, though they were likely used simply as padding.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
1
Nintendo originally planned to include a level editor in the game. The level editor is still in the game's code, and by editing the game's memory, the level editor can still be accessed.
Franchise: Mario

Shigeru Miyamoto wanted Mario to have a dinosaur companion ever since Super Mario Bros. but it wasn't thought possible at the time due to the limitations of the NES. He wanted to implement Yoshi in Super Mario Bros. 3 but again could not. Two power-ups were created to fill the gap - raccoon and frog Mario. Co-worker Takashi Tezuka once speculated that Miyamoto's love of horse riding had influenced Yoshi's creation.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
1
Attachment The texture of the Metroid assist trophy contains a sprite of EarthBound's Mr. Saturn. It can't be seen in-game, as it isn't mapped to the model.
Final Fantasy VII

Cloud's hair was originally supposed to be black and slicked back to contrast with Sephiroth's long white hair. The developers also thought it would be a good way to render less polygons on screen. The idea was eventually ditched for his iconic spiky hair. The idea was later used for Angeal, the original wielder of the Buster Sword and Sephiroph's close friend in Crisis Core.
Super Mario Bros. 3

Attachment The box art for the game shows images from earlier stages of the game's development. The image of word 1 has different paths when compared to the final version, and the second image doesn't represent anything seen in the game's final build.
Rugrats: Time Travelers

Attachment Hidden in the game's ROM is an anti-Microsoft illustration. The image shows a Microsoft disc titled 'World Domination 99', likely referring to Microsoft's monopoly of PC software at the time.

Attachment The hotel in Celedon City has an invisible PC in the corner. If you stand one space down from the top right corner of the first room and press A, you'll be able to boot it up. It's assumed that this is a slight oversight, as the hotel resembles a Pokemon center, and the programmers removed the PC graphic but not its function.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
1
Attachment The Iron Knuckles enemies are actually Gerudo Thieves in armor. Removing the chest plate reveals a curvy feminine figure, and since the Gerudo are all female it seems that this was intentional, and Nintendo didn't just aimlessly use them as a base.

Attachment Waluigi was created by Camelot artist Fumihide Aoki during the development of Mario Tennis as a rival to Luigi. There were also talks of a Princess Peach counterpart to further expand the roster. This proposed "Warupichi" character was ultimately dismissed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo because they were hesitant about making an evil version of Princess Peach, given how she was still portrayed as innocent in earlier games. Despite this, Aoki would keep the character idea around for Mario Power Tennis, featuring another rejected design that would eventually be revealed to the public in 2023, both through unused sketches and a 3D model. In one sketch, the character wields an axe, which according to Aoki, was added to make her "cute and scary". Aoki also revealed more information through Instagram comments, like how "Warupichi" was going to be the authority figure that gave orders to Wario and Waluigi, and how he wanted to make a companion to "Warupichi" that would have been an arch-rival to Yoshi that was going to be a dragon with horns and wings. The day after revealing Warupichi and the rest of this information, Aoki deleted the original posts and locked his Instagram account.

Attachment Fully-textured models of Timothy Dalton, Sean Connery and Roger Moore are all hidden in the game's code. They can be accessed via cheat codes, but only in the game's menus.
